Ms Claire Hobson

Claire has over twenty years’ experience of strategic operational and business-facing policy roles in the public and private sector. She spent the first half of of her career in central government, in various management and senior leadership positions where she gained an interest and experience in talent assessment and development. She has been an independent panel member for recruitment interviews, an assessor for the Civil Service Fast Stream, a mentor and performance improvement coach. She has first-hand experience of going through an assessment and development centre, psychometric testing and competency-based interviews. She has also run action learning sets (ALS) for Civil Service Fast Stream graduates and participated in an ALS for leaders in their first senior management role. She has a Masters degree in Occupational and Business Psychology at Kingston University and is a Fellow of the Chartered Management Institute.
