Euan has served on the FMLM Trainee Steering Group since 2019, first as the Scottish Regional Representative and most recently as Secretary.
Euan graduated from Medicine at the University of Dundee in 2011, having also undertaken an intercalated BMSc in Anatomy and Forensic Anthropology. After completing Foundation Training in Wales and Core Surgical Training in Bristol, Euan returned home to Glasgow and commenced Trauma and Orthopaedic Speciality Training in the West of Scotland in 2015.
Euan participated in the Scottish Clinical Leadership Fellowship (2018-2019) and was hosted by NHS Education for Scotland and The Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh. As part of his Fellowship, he focussed on the introduction and evaluation of interventions to tackle differential attainment amongst trainees.
He continues to maintain a strong interest in medical education, participating as a Quality Management Trainee Associate on behalf of NHS Education for Scotland and completing a Postgraduate Diploma in Medical Education.
