About Me

I am a highly skilled leadership coach with broad skills based on extensive NHS leadership experience, latterly as a Chief Executive before starting my own business.  I coach a variety of clients: clinicians, executives and managers across sectors. I also work with top teams and Boards to develop their effectiveness. Enhancing my leadership experience I have an MSc in Organisational Behaviour where I focused on culture change in organisations and on the leadership styles of women. I have a very open style and am excellent at motivating people and organisations to excel in what they do. I support my clients in bringing themselves, their values and beliefs to their role; help them learn about themselves so that they are effective; develop their self awareness to enhance their ability to make decisions, make choices and live/work authentically; develop their awareness and understanding of others; encourage them to translate ideas into actions.

Coaching Process

My coaching is person centred, informed by a range of models and underpinned by my own development. I contract clearly, building trust, creating a safe environment from which to explore. I help clients learn by reflection and encourage them by giving of myself. Clients value my style and my experience, reporting an increased sense of self; greater confidence and awareness of their impact on others; a greater sense of control that allows for a positive personal impact. I use Nancy Kline’s Thinking Environment in my practice and strive to ensure clients sustain emotional well-being. I am accredited in psychometrics including MBTI and 16PF5. I have a special interest in coaching women leaders, clinical leaders and individuals who are at points of transition in their careers.

My vision of coaching is that it is a powerful enabler: supporting leaders to do their best, to be self confident and self-aware and to be resilient in tough environments.  I am driven by a keen sense of fairness and am motivated particularly to work with clients who are grappling with organisational dynamics, organisational politics and their own self-confidence. I can offer you a safe space to understand yourself, your behaviours and your impact on others whilst supporting you to meet your goals.
