NHS Lanarkshire and FMLM Applied are delivering a coaching programme for GPs working within the locality. GPs are being offered 1:1 coaching sessions with a qulaified coach to feel supported, have access to additional resources that enable you to develop your leadership skills, sustain performance, achieve the work-life balance you need and prevent burn-out. The sessions are delivered by accredited Coaches who are members of the European Mentoring and Coaching Council or The Association for Coaching in the UK. It is also an invaluable development opportunity that contributes positively to the GP Appraisal and Revalidation processes.
FMLM will provide successful applicants with an individual, bespoke coaching programme, delivered on a one-to-one, face-to-face, confidential basis. It provides the opportunity to download and let off steam, to have someone neutral and objective listen to you with empathy and understanding or to help sort out your thinking and to gain clarity about next steps. It has a proven track record of helping GPs to build the confidence to act and to take control of difficult situations.
