Reason for applying for the scheme

Natalie has witnessed the importance and benefits of compassionate, high-quality leadership throughout the pandemic and during this time saw her own leadership skills develop and be challenged. The Fellowship allows Natalie the opportunity to develop her leadership skills and understanding of how larger systems of the NHS work. It gives her the ability to work alongside a variety of leaders and ultimately help direct change in the NHS. The ability to maintain a clinical capacity alongside this means she will be able to bring the skills she develops back to her clinical work and engage with staff members and patients to be able to relay their priorities, and hopefully have a wider impact on quality of care for all.
