Reason for applying for the scheme

Over the course of her career, Nisha has made significant clinical contributions to her patients and to developing and improving local services. She now wants to complement this with further clinical leadership skills to enable her to drive service change across boundaries and contribute to population health on a wider scale.

Nisha believes that participating in this scheme, stepping outside of her comfort zone, and being able to learn from senior leaders will provide an excellent and unique opportunity for her to develop as a healthcare leader. She is also looking forward to gaining more project management experience and increasing her understanding of policy and decision-making on a national level.
