Regional Student Representative for England - South
Nadine Abbas is a final year medical student with a great interest in leadership and innovation. Through her time at medical school she's undertaken roles representing her peers such as on the BMA Medical Students Executive Committee as the Deputy Co-Chair for Finance and was a founding scholar at The Healthcare Leadership Academy.
Through her passion in videography, she founded a multi-award winning bite-size video series with the aim to inspire, engage and inform medical students across the globe on topics not covered within the medical curriculum called 'Not Just a Medical Student'. She has interviewed inspirational leaders in medicine and was fortunate to have won the Association and Study of Medical Education (ASME) Medical Educator Innovator Award 2017.As the NHS evolves, healthcare models must change with it. It is fundamental to care delivery and are vital that the next generation of doctors are at its core.
