Hannah pursued a degree in Dentistry at Peninsula Dental School after initially graduating from Durham University where she studied Molecular Biology and Biochemistry. Hannah worked in practice for a year before gaining experience in various dental specialties including Paediatric Dentistry, Oral Surgery and Maxillofacial Surgery. During her training Hannah developed a keen interest in teaching and has completed a postgraduate certificate in Dental Education.
Hannah is excited to be a Clinical Fellow and hopes the scheme will help her develop the skills to become a consultant who can drive progress and contribute to the excellent services the NHS delivers. The Chief Dental Officer Scheme offers Hannah the opportunity to enhance her understanding of healthcare systems at a national level and cultivate the skills needed to enable her to deliver optimal patient care on her return to clinical practice.
