This coaching programme has been designed to empower and invigorate senior medical leaders to make and implement key career decisions for the next chapter in their working lives.
Objectives
To establish a safe, confidential, fun and creative, structured learning group for up to 6 participants
To create a clear and compelling vision for the future for each participant based on each individual's career and life needs
To review your medical career options
To make and implement career-related decisions, enabling participants to move forward with confidence and renewed energy
To understand participants’ longer term needs and signpost to resources and interventions
To use evidence-based coaching psychology to underpin the process.
Who is this course suitable for?
Senior medical leaders with Board level or equivalent roles, such as experienced medical directors, system leaders, medical leaders in national or international roles, senior medical academic leaders. Applicants who identify as female and those from under-represented ethnic groups are encouraged to join the course; every effort will be made to ensure a diverse group for the benefit of all participants.
Course outline:
Held online on Zoom over an eight-week period
Small groups of six
Time commitment of approximately two hours for self directed tasks required between sessions
Introduction held on Zoom prior to course starting.
