Miss Silvia Ceci

Clinical Fellow, Specialist Pharmacy Service

Silvia Ceci is a lead pharmacist at Central London Community Healthcare NHS Trust where she leads on the development and integration of new services to the Trust. She provides professional advice, support and training on policies and practice to health professionals in community care. Her background, however, is in secondary care. She was the lead Formulary and Medicines & Information (MI) pharmacist at the Whittington Hospital before moving into community health services.

Having worked in both hospital and community settings, gives her a deep understanding and appreciation of prescribing and medicines management issues faced in both settings.

She is a proud ambassador of the pharmacy profession. Her work in promoting pharmacy research led her to be awarded the highly commended research and innovation award at the Whittington annual staff excellence awards.
She has successfully completed a Masters degree in Advance Pharmacy Practice, which has helped her to further develop her management and leadership skills.

Outside of work, Silvia is a keen boxer. She believes that hard work and self-discipline are the key to success.

Silvia has applied for the fellowship to learn more about how the NHS works and how each organisation interacts with one other. By working alongside senior leaders, she would like to develop a new skill set including strategy and soft skills.
Throughout the year she will have time to focus on her development and to set her own objectives. She hopes to learn more about herself and her career path. She is excited about meeting new people and confident she will find a supporting network for the future.
